Development & Hosting — Switzerland
Literaxis is developed by turmitus.tech in Switzerland. Hosting, database and infrastructure run on Infomaniak servers in Switzerland. Swiss data protection law (DSG/nDSG) applies.
Zero-Storage — 7-Day Deletion
Your manuscript belongs to you. Uploaded files and translated texts are automatically and irreversibly deleted after 7 days. No permanent storage of book content. No sale of text data. Ever.
No Tracking — No Advertising
No third-party analytics services. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no cookie tracking. Only technically necessary session cookies. That's why there's no cookie banner.
AI — Transparent and Bounded
For translation we use Claude by Anthropic (USA). Texts are transmitted exclusively for the core function — no sharing with external AI models or third parties. Internally, we collect anonymised quality metrics (sentence structure, style markers) solely to improve our service — with no link to content or authors.
Automatic Quality Validation
Every translation undergoes an automatic validation pass after completion. A second AI pass independently checks for omissions, tense inconsistencies, register breaks and meaning errors. Detected problems are flagged as VALIDATION ERROR in the annotated PDF — transparent, explained, with no automatic intervention in the text.
Passwords — Never Readable
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Even we as operators cannot read your password. All connections are TLS-encrypted.
Account Deletion — In Your Hands
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the Dashboard, without a support request. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
